Five or six weeks ago, I found myself really struggling to get work done. I was unable to focus, find joy in my writing (something I’d never had an issue with before), and check writing tasks off my to-do list.
I was working way fewer hours than I set aside for work each week. And when I didn’t meet my productivity or time quotas as a result, I was sorely disappointed in myself.
But I was getting more than enough sleep. I was eating well. I was exercising regularly. I was also spending time in Scripture and church, feeding my spiritual growth.
Yet I couldn’t get myself to write. At least, not nearly as much as I used to.
I started wondering what was wrong with me!
