i think that people would love to help you turn your weaknesses into strengths, but I guess people tend to fear being judged and end up choosing to run away instead of believing in themselves that i can do it

That’s so true! People can be more kind and helpful than we anticipate, but because we fear rejection or judgment, we don’t want to put ourselves out there and ask for help.

Exactly right. I find it funny that people worry they won’t be good enough at a new skill or task. Of course you won’t be good at that! Nobody sat down at a piano and immediately is good at playing it. We understand that. But other things? Oh, people will see I’m not good! So? You aren’t good, but the only way to get better is to work at it.

Right! I think we live in a world where some people are just SO good at things that it feels embarrassing to start out bad at things. But that’s part of life - the talented people didn’t start out perfect!
