I do self-publish, however I have just read an article that states a new publisher is about to launch using AI to distribute self-published authors work, for a fee naturally.

They intend to launch 8,000 books on one year.

The publisher is Spines, they intend to charge between $1,200-$5,000 to edit and distribute books.

Interesting!! I’ve not heard of this type of distribution before. Sounds like a neat hybrid between traditional and self publishing. Are you thinking of trying it out?

I've done both and I have to agree with you'll the way. I'm an independent now and I love the creative freedom but I do miss the publicity machine that comes with an established publishing company (and the ££ advance). On balance however, where I am now is perfect for me.
